Time for a new T?

Everyone's favourite t-shirt people Turtlehead have just launched three new Irish t-shirts, featuring everyone's favourite b-words (that's Biffo and Bono, just to be clear). Expect Enda and Eamon to turn up wearing this fine design on the last day of school, I mean Dáil:

As for me, I'm rather liking this one and with the weather we've been having, it must be time for a new t-shirt:

All in the detail

In Paris last month I discovered the wonderful world of COS. At a mere fiver, I couldn't leave this padded rosette behind. I love the graffiti print fabric and the colours are perfect with the grey jackets I've made a habit of buying lately.

The little fabric bag they slipped it into at the till was just the icing on the cake.

SMG looks chic, shops

I ♥ Sarah Michelle Gellar and I ♥ this outfit.

The blue skirt really stands out against the neutral navy and black and the cut of the jacket is gorgeous. I also covet the boots.

Who'd have thought maternity wear could be so fashion-forward?

Ooh... shiny!

I do like a nice shiny new piece of technology every once in a while. My four and a half year old Motorola is still in good working order, but the battery is not, so I decided it was time for an upgrade. And after many months of searching (why are so many expensive phones so cheap and plastic-looking?), I finally settled on this lovely Sony Ericsson W715. With WiFi, Walkman, camera and, yes, phone all in one lovely brushed silver package, I am now fully up to date in the stylish technology stakes. Now to try to figure out blogging on the go...

Pizza + Benefit = Happy Fashion Bloggers

It doesn't get much better than delicious Milano pizza and Benefit goodie bags at noon on a showery Saturday in May. And so it was that the 10th Fashion Bloggers' Brunch passed happily in a haze of pizza, indigo mascara and teeny lemon tarts.

Important lessons were learned (when applying Benefit Lip Plump, you want to aim for two dots, blended well, rather than applying a full coat as you would with lipgloss), accessories were admired, politics (or at least political posters) were discussed and a birthday was celebrated.

Thanks as usual to the lovely Annmarie for organising it all - looking forward to next month!

Pierre Hermé, je t'adore.

These are some macarons by Pierre Hermé, kindly provided on arrival at Hotel des Académies et des Arts in Paris last weekend. You may have tried other macarons in the past and thought "Yeah, nice, but isn't it more about how cute they look than what they actually taste like?", but should you ever get the chance to try those made by M. Hermé, don't give it a second thought.

To. Die. For.
