These are some macarons by Pierre Hermé, kindly provided on arrival at Hotel des Académies et des Arts in Paris last weekend. You may have tried other macarons in the past and thought "Yeah, nice, but isn't it more about how cute they look than what they actually taste like?", but should you ever get the chance to try those made by M. Hermé, don't give it a second thought.

Lauderee is now at Brown Thomas in Dublin. The stand they have is gorgeous. Yum you should try some of their macaroons!
