Summer is ready when you are

I still can't really get my head around the concept of daylight savings, but nevermind - it's now officially summertime! To celebrate, here are The Breeders doing "Saints". Just what you need on a Monday morning. They're also playing in Vicar Street on May 18th. I saw them there last year and despite the Monday night scheduling, it was a fantastic gig. Well worth €28.

FBB gets on the bus

A select band of hardcore fashion bloggers braved pre 9am alarm calls on Saturday morning and ventured beyond the pale to a very foggy Kildare Village for a spot of browsing and some lovely Italian food, courtesy of L'Officina by Dunne and Crescenzi. With brands such as Reiss, All Saints, Nike and Anya Hindmarch available, it might be surprising that this is what I came home with...

It was so cute that I couldn't resist, particularly at 50% off the already reduced price in the Le Creuset store! However, I will definitely be heading back to Kildare for a longer look in the Anya Hindmarch boutique next time...

Mulberry Bayswater Clutch

Be still my beating heart... the Mulberry Bayswater Clutch has arrived. The original Bayswater has been on my wishlist for a long time, but its baby sister is certainly a tempting alternative for Spring. Available in 4 finishes, my pick is the lightweight antiqued in the "Lipstick" shade - honestly, it's like they invented it with me in mind.

Soft and squishy, the detachable shoulder strap is a genius inclusion - clutches aren't always the most practical option, particularly when engaging in important activies such as shopping, so being able to throw it over your shoulder when you need your hands free is a bonus.

Dreaming of summer - Next silver sandals

Yes, I realise it is freezing cold again outside, but in my head I'm planning for the fantastic summer which must be in store for us. And aren't these sandals just the thing for sunny summer days? Flat and practical, but pretty too, I particularly like the silver ones. I haven't set foot inside Next for years, but if this is indicative of what they're coming up with these days, it might be time to pay them a visit. Priced at £25 on the UK website, these will probably be marked up to around €40 here. Still not bad for 100% leather uppers and insoles.
